It is the perfect beginning of a blogging mission !
“Proficient Blogging” is an idea, a concept that took a shape of a full fledged website and I must be thankful of couple of my friends for this. Rajesh and his wife Renu especially motivated me to think in this direction. I thought that I should do something to help others having their own blogs.
A motivation in return to the motivation !
Exchange of few emails with some of the other friends revelaed an interesting fact that many of these friends are attracted to blogging but do not have any idea how to do that or where to start with?
“Blogs” and “Blogging” is expanding new horizons across the globe. India has also achieved the “one million blogs hallmark” by the end of the year 2009. We observe the exponential growth in the ‘micro-blogging’ as well. ‘Facebook‘, ‘Twitter‘, and hundreds of such other social networking sites are gaining immense popularity among the masses.
Watch out TV and you will find channels sharing websites information and blogging tips. Any program that refers to celebrities necessarily mentions what is hot on “twitter” or “facebook” about a particular celebrity and how those 140 characters are creating ripples across the borders. Internet has become an essential element of all broadcasting and telecasting media around the world. Almost every such established media has its own website and also offers blogging for others.
Pick any established newspaper and just go through its ‘feature-section’ for a week. You will find website guidance, references,and columns dedicated to what is happening in the blogging world (Blogosphere).
Magazines and other print media have also understood the importance of blogging and included blogs in their content. Watch out for the advertisements in the print media and you will find that blogging networks and other service providers like domains and hosting have started making their presence felt.
It is kind of a blogging revolution?
Yes , indeed!
According to an estimate more than 20,000 blogs are created everyday. This number is an evidence of exponential growth in the popularity of blogging across the world. Who are these people creating blogs? Are they all professionals? Webmasters? Experts?
Well, not everyone of these huge population is an expert or web-professional. As a matter of fact, majority of these are people like you and me.
Blogging is an immensely useful activity for all individuals. The concept of blogging is evolving consistently and even ‘group-blogging’ is gaining acceptance. A blog helps you to pour out your ideas, thinking,and of course knowledge to others. You may want to write about nature,health,technology,parenting,or even about the systemic issues including the government.
Blog is a medium, a source for communicating with others. You may develop a group of like minded people subsequently through your own blog and establish a social network as well.
How about sharing your knowledge and ideas about some specific information with visitors and readers who are looking for the same?
Blogging is the platform that offers you such an opportunity and that too with extreme ease. You just need to muster basic skills and some practice to become a proficient blogger. It is a technique to express yourself and proficient blogging will help you acquire all those skills and techniques to make you an expert blogger within a few weeks only.
