Creating content for a blog as a “blog post” is not different from writing an email on any of the web based email platform like Hotmail, Gmail, AOL, and Yahoo. The web based mail services are available free as well as paid ones. However, I assume that you are well versed with writing emails on popular free web based email services like Gmail and Hotmail.

So what do you do when you write an email?

You simply “log in” or “sign in” with a chosen username and password. This entering leads you to a WYSIWYG editor with the help of a web browser. I believe you must have if you surf the internet quite often. Many times when people do not know what is a blog exactly may not recollect but it is highly improbable that they haven’t seen or read a blog. In order to derive information on any particular topic or subject blogs prove to be of immense help. Thanks to all the “niche-bloggers” who perform this painstaking duty with all social responsibility.

Blogging is an effective tool for your personal benefits. The benefits could be in form of business promotion or successful communication with network establishment. But above all it is the personal pleasure and enjoyment of blogging that will keep you blogging for a long period.

Successful bloggers admit that key to maintain a blog with all success is writing posts regularly. An expert blogger knows that the posts must be interesting as well. The enthusiasm for writing such interesting posts comes if you hold good command over the subject you are writing on. Basics of Blogging:Blogging Terminology

A friend of mine asked me to explain some of the terms I used during our discussion regarding our future online project. These were in fact terms related with “blogging”. Being a newbie he was not able to catch them and understand.

This curiosity forced me to think about all others who intend to enter the “blogosphere” with their own blogs. Like every other activity and area of work “blogging’ is also a technique to express yourself and therefore it is obviously characterized by its own terminology.

The “blogosphere”, like any geek endeavor, is rife with its own nomenclature.
